Very slow TSA checkpoint, easily half of the people trying to catch their flight didn't make it in time because of them only having one person checking IDs.
The airport is well maintained and very clean so that's always a positive experience!
Not that I should've expected more, but the crappy massage chairs steal your money and no one will help in the lobby. No TSA pre check so they give you an expedited boarding card right as you come to the xray line and as your trying to get your stuff through they tell you all liquids and computers need to come out. I literally said, "Sorry, they didn't say anything" and the rude agent began her attitude with me, "it says it on the card." There were at least 10 comments that she made inappropriately to me in between me speaking to my husband about how It’s the old school version and we weren't prepared. Security should let people know before so we are not unloading everything on the conveyer belt.

Easy in and easy out, this airport is a great place to travel from. Plus, if you like Bourbon, they have a great shop that's past security check in. The guy working it knows his stuff and helped us select a great bottle we couldn't find in our home town.
Flown out of this airport many times. However if you fly out early in the morning most of the shops and places to eat are closed. IMO they should be open if the airport is open. Travelers need food and other items, and they can't just leave the airport to go get something.
Great airport until everything shuts down at 8 p.m., including security, so sorry about your luck if your flight is delayed past 10 p.m. and you would dare want a snack or drink (came back to add a thanks to Bluegrass Tap Room for literally re-opening to accommodate stranded passengers).
