Just a Beautiful place to visit. I enjoyed my hour or so there today. It is both peaceful and quiet with many places to sit and contemplate!
Rarely, do we walk hallowed grounds like those present within the Lexington Cemetery. These marble and granite monuments to those who have passed before us still have the power to shape our experience. This location exists like a time capsule full of local, regional, and national history. Anyone wanting to know more about life, dedication, and sacrifice has but to walk these hillsides and read the plaques and inscriptions.
My absolute favorite place in Lexington. It is so beautiful and peaceful.

This cemetery is the resting place of Kentucky legend, Henry Clay. It also boasts one of Lexingtons most tranquil and beautiful woodland. Staff if helpful, and grounds are groomed respectfully. The site is often frequented by many geese, and swan.
