Down to four stars for health concerns with the deli and obnoxious, borderline abusive management treating employees badly in front of customers.
Absolutely amazing produce and deli. Best we've found in Lexington so far.
The produce section is still amazing though and the fellow at the customer service desk was quick and helpful when we had to make a return.

I don't get to shop there as often as I would but it has always had great sales and never babies a problem finding things I'm looking A perfect 10!
I love this Meijer! Always very clean and always have the right amount of lanes open to get you through the checkout quick. This Meijer always have everything I need stocked and at my convenience. Staff has always been friendly.
Department Store, like Walmart, but Clothes and Groceries are higher here. Sometimes, they have bargain sales, but not often. Great Customer Service.
The Hamburg Meyer customer service is awful. I was waiting my turn in the checkout line this evening, there were only three full service lanes open so the lines were pretty long. I was the third customer in line, a fourth customer walked up later when a new checkout line opened up. The cashier called the forth customer over who had only been standing in line for a few minutes instead of having me come over. I hadn’t placed my groceries on the belt so I could have easily changed lanes. It’s not the first time it’s happened to me, before I shrugged it off.
This time after checkout I walked to customer service and spoke with the manager who informed me that their policy is only to call over a customer and whoever gets there first gets to go. I was shocked to hear that was really their policy. I asked the manager “so it’s ok to have me stand in line longer even though I had been waiting much longer than the forth customer. He confirmed yes. I don’t understand how this is good customer service. The manager was fine with it. I guess I’ll have to move my business to Kroger. It’s a shame. I’ve never seen anything like it. Grocery stores from the west coast, where I’m originally from, operate with their customers in mind. That’s clearly not one of Meyers mission statement philosophies.
