I was dealing with moderate to severe chronic pain and resulting chronic sleep deprivation, chronic exhaustion, short term memory issues, etc. The first 18 months were "on my clock", time I needed to get comprehensive medical tests & evidence from about 20 different specialists in eight different medical fields. After I completed that, OPM took only 9 months to complete their process and approve my application. When enough time had passed, without OPM's decision, Harris Federal Law Firm's lead attorney took my application, among others, to the OPM Retirement Operations Center in Boyers, PA, to help facilitate OPM's process.
