Spent about 90 minutes here and had a great time. It isn't huge but there seems to be a lot of care taken into the what they have in the two large hangers. About 12 full planes within the museum and then other scale models, engines, and other collections. I would go back again or take family there if we were near. Admission was also cheap.
Very cute musuem! Been wanting to come here for awhile and never got a chance. Its not huge, spent about 1 1/2 hours viewing and reading about everything. The people are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. There are a few planes outside and a musuem with more to see inside. Definitely recommend especially if you love aviation like me.
Lots of aircraft mixing civilian with 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's etc WWI/WWII/VietNam/modern era aircraft and helicopters, flight suits and ~20 different radial and jet engines to see and touch. I was surprise to see a Blue Angel F4, a F14, and a sister ship to Earhart's which actually is still in flight condition as are a few others. just looking at each aircraft takes over an hour and viewing the engines and other exhibits adds another hour....worth the time! All for $8 and discounted for senior/Vets.
Nice local museum for aviation buffs. Fun.
I absolutely love this place. The docents are so kind and knowledgeable. The new building they are currently in is exciting and well designed. They also have a congressional medal of honor! Its so neat!
