But I truly wish it was dozens of times bigger. It would be nice if there was a place in Fayette County where we could go to get lost in the woods.

Excellent trails for beginning and moderate hiking. There are plenty of excellent views and streams to relax by. Recommended trails are the red and yellow trails. For those who just want a leisurely time outside of the city, I would recommend the green or blue trails. Be sure to stop by the mini museum to get maps and information about local flora and fauna as well as sign the check-in sheet before you go hiking. This is, overall, a great location to find your inner peace and is located not far from the Lexington city limits.

Raven Run is much too small but I love it. It is essentially a hiking loop of about a mile. I went to your dozens of times as a Boy Scout, and now that I have kids, I take them here. It's a wonderful path for children, because it loops back on itself, there are multiple ways to get to the same place, and it isn't very long.

Great place for a day hike. Wish you could stay the night over but still a beautiful and we'll kept place

There used to be dozens of benches, but at some point I guess they got rid of them. That makes sense to me. On a trail this short, there are not that many needs to rest. Since it requires such a long drive to get out to it, the people who are just looking for a social walk in the park tend to stay in town.

If you have special needs, mobility handicaps, or tiny children , this park could not be more perfect for you. There isn't even a playground to distract the kids. I have taken my one year old child on this path, and it is absolutely no trouble at all to let him wander, or to pick him up and carry him when it is time to go. Every inch of the trail is paved, and most of it has rails to keep you on the path.

Great hiking spot. I'd recommend doing the loop trail with the scenic overlook of the Kentucky River. Be careful if you have any kids, though. There isn't any barrier that could stop them from falling off. The trail is listed as moderate, and would be difficult to do with a stroller.

So amazing we come here every year, same trails as always but great verity, over all great place.
