This place is beautiful. I've been here several times and it has always been amazing. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. This is a great setting for any kind of event. I highly recommend it
A favorite stop for us. Good for the entire family and great for large group events. Plenty of tables and seating in the lobby and common areas. Super helpful and friendly desk staff. Rooms are comfy, beds are perfect for sleeping. Fridge in the room is perfect for us too. Large screen TV in the room for those that want to catch pretty much anything on TV. We'll be back.
The grounds, building and rooms are all well maintained and clean. The remodel done in the past few years is very stylish and modern. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We have been staying here every December for ten years. The ground floor rooms with walkout patios are extremely convenient for dogs. We usually have ours with us. The bar staff is hit and miss as far as friendly goes but we're always there over Christmas so maybe they're just sour about working the holiday. Overall we love returning to the Griffon Gate Marriott year after year.
The spa experience was great. I had the spa package which included massage, facial , and pedicure. The massage and facial were great. The pedicure i could have gotten for a lot cheaper for the same experience at your corner nail place. For one thing there was no hot water so my foot soak was cool. And later i had to run the shower for a full 15 to 20 mins to get warm water.
Had a good experience. The hotel is a little outdated but they've been updated so they are adequate. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room ac unit seemed to have a hard time cooling the room enough for my comfort, but I like a really cold room. Hotel bar was pretty nice too. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
