Financial planning screwed everything up for me almost the whole time I've attended the school. They took my book credit away almost every quarter (without telling me), which caused me to have to take out more loans because I couldn't pay out of pocket. I didn't have the money to do so. I also owe them money now and can't receive my diploma until I pay all of it because they messed up my financial package.
A Private University and a rip off
Be warned, they will be so nice and helpful to sucker you in after that you are left hanging they are no help what so ever.
The person responsible for helping plan my daughters final semester did not give her enough hours, no one bothered to inform her she trusted the schedule she was given because this was the persons job, now they are trying to say we owe $1,000.00 more dollars because she didn't take enough hours to have her scholarship???? I have called, was told they straightened it out and would give her a grant/write it off, YET when she went to get her certificate they said we owed money and no one knew anything about the grant so they will not let her have her certificate of completion?? I HATE THIS SCHOOL AND ALL BE WARNED!!!!!
I also had a lot of problems with housing that I'm not gonna go into, but it really sucked and I ended up going home to finish my degree online because of it.
I'm finally almost finished! Looking back on it, I kind of wish that I looked into more schools before I chose Sullivan. I'm sure that I could have found a better one to attend.
If I could leave 0 stars I would the administration treated me like garbage. They can take their university and stick it.
All was fine to get my daughter in the school/program then as the semesters went by things became worse and worse when it came to help with the Financial office. The bookstore is not convenient at all for students who have night & weekend classes.
Great school and great instructors that go the extra mile for their students. I dislike the fact that Louisville has taken over Lexington with the financial aid but Lex campus rocks.
If you are planning to study here and if you don't have a student loan make sure you stop right there. Each credit is more expensive than any other private university that offers same course with same quality. Better choose University of Kentucky if you can make it
