Love the LAL all it does for the community! My favorite event is the Woodland Art Fair. We NEVER miss it. The artists are amazing and the local fare is great with food trucks, tents, and local beer!
I worked as an intern back in 2012 and will say I didn't realize until I worked there just how much LAL have done for the city of Lexington. They really try to live up to their slogan ART FOR EVERYONE which is the way all art should be! I hope everyone who gets a chance will go and see their exhibits and attend some of their events throughout the city of Lexington. Once you go, you will see why they are one of the oldest arts organizations in the city of Lexington. If I could give this organization 10 stars I would!
The Lexington Art League is a true community supported gem for gallery-goers, artists and patrons. The public sculpture garden just opened this summer…definitely worth a few hours.
