I love the doctor and he helps me with my anxiety when I'm there. But the receptionist Melissa needs better customer service skills. She can ruin your experience quick.
Dr. Sunny Thacker is the rudest, most unprofessional dentist I've ever been to. On two different occasions as I'm sitting in the chair while she's working on me, she makes a rude statement about me to the hygienist. One statement I quote was, " This is the worst case all year." Meaning my anxiety level. Her work is subpar. My children as well as my self always complained at the amount of residue left on our teeth after a filling. I never had that problem when another dentist filled a cavity. And my son and I both experienced a cavity falling out after only a few weeks after being filled. If you want to be treated poorly, have your cavities fall out, then you've certainly found your dentist.
Worst experience ever.... he will have us wait until he is done with his other patients. It takes him 2 hours to do just one filling. Never going back to him again.
I've been seeing Dr. Hishmeh since 2011, I started off at his Monticello office, and when I moved to Lexington it was so convenient. He has the most gentle touch. I was literally terrified of the dentist before I met him and now I look forward to any appointment I have with him, because i know it's going to go smoothly. You might have to wait a while but hes literally worth it. Artist take time with their masterpieces, and he's a dental genius.
Can't say enough about Dr. Hishmeh. He did 3 crowns for me after I was not happy with the fillings I'd had since age 10 (and that chipped out once a year). He made the experience easy and went out of his way not just to make functional crowns but also that they looked perfect. Now I have a long-term solution that looks awesome. I've never seen someone more passionate about his work and it shows.
