The issue came with my current pregancy, and their office policy of wanting my labor charge up front, before the baby's due date. I have insurance through work, and didn't have to do this with my first child, it was an option then. I called and tried to work out a smaller payment, the contract presented to me wanted $197.06 a month for 7 months which doesn't include "ultrasounds, non-stress tests, hospital charges, lab work, anesthesiologist, circumcision, or any additional visits for complications"
I was disappointed to have to leave this provider today. I honestly do not have complaints about my Dr, she has been wonderful and was great with my first pregnancy and has been my personal obgyn for several years now.
So I have been here once before to talk about birth control. My doctor, mrs. cook was very nice. Never had any problems with her. So about 5 or 6 days ago I took an at home AZO UTI test which came out positive, so I called to schedule an appointment. The only one available was 5 days out. I even asked to keep me on a wait list in case anybody canceled. We the day of my app and I’m in the hospital with 2 kidney infections. Of all people I would have thought since I knew I had a UTI, they would want to get me in sooner than later to prevent things like this happening. I have called 5 times and left 2 voicemails and have heard nothing. This is outrageous. This could have been avoided if the people who work there understands what happens when a UTI is not treated. Unfortunately I had no clue. You’ll be better off going somewhere else.
Hands down! End of story! Dr. Sarah Borders is one of the most caring , attentive, selfless doctors my wife and I have ever come into contact with!!! We have seen 10 doctors/obgyn 8 months ago with no answers , at the end of our rope we went to see dr. Borders and within a couple weeks she performed a surgery that finally got my wife out of pain and back to a normal life!! Words can’t express the gratitude and praise that we truly want to give dr. Borders! She went above and beyond, she was professional, and best of all she actually sat with us every visit to make sure our life was back on track. She is unlike any doctor We’ve ever met and will continue to drive 2 hrs to her because her service is beyond worth it! Thank you miss borders from the bottom of both mine and my wife’s heart!!!!!
I love this office and the Alysheba Way location is so easy! You pull right up to the front door to park! Thank you ladies for all that you do for me!
Dr. Dougherty’s professionalism, thoughtfulness, and charismatic demeanor make you feel very comfortable. She is knowledgeable and is able to convey diagnosis and opinions in an easy to understand way. She is compassionate and genuinely cares for her patients. The ultra sound technician was expetional as well. Nice office. Easy to find parking and was easy to schedule. Highly recommend!!!
I understand that the laws and rules have changed since my first child, I just do not have the funds for that. I'm not disputing what my insurance says the cost will be, not much different then the first time, but I was allowed to make smaller payments over a longer length of time AND it included all charges once I was released from the hospital after delivery. I wish things could have been different but I suppose their policy is in place for a reason. Again, no complaints about my doctor, just wish the policy wasn't in place.
