Can’t say I’ll go back even though I live close by.
I’ve eaten here many times since they opened in early 90’s. It used to be always the best service, great food, etc.
Before someone thinks we were being picky or weird about the steak we weren't the only table with problems. The man next to me had his steak sent back for also have a strange sour taste and never did get his shrimp. He ended up leaving and going to McDonald's, which was probably the better choice. Never again!
We were last to be served including people who were seated and ordered after us (ordered ontreys same time as appetizers), the baked potato was soggy, the mashed potatoes were cold likely plated well before main items and it took 3 loaves to not get stale bread. Other than that the cheese fries were fantastic, steak was cooked perfectly (med. rare and med. well), our server was very polite and the Mac and cheese was very nice. All and all 3 stars.
It was a wonderful meal, liked everything. The waiter was efficient, personal, and pleasant. We really enjoyed the evening out all because my husband wanted lobster glad we chose this establishment.
The last few years I’ve had very few good meals. Last night our waitress was indifferent and slow. We were by the kitchen door so you would think the vegetables and entrees would be hot. I got shrimp which I sent back and manager brought me a chicken to make up for it. Larry was very nice about our incident but my friend’s steak was cold and they did finally bring more shrimp. I do not mind slow service at a made to order restaurant but shrimp scampi was a special and it is fast to make.
Our service was slow. It took us over 45 minutes from the time we ordered our food until the time it came out. We almost ended filling up on bread and blooming onion. When the food finally came out one steak was undercooked and the other was cooked correctly but tasted horrible. It had a sour taste. One of the baked potatoes was also still hard. Sent it all back. The undercooked steak came back then overcooked and the baked potato had sour cream. The other steak was fine. Servers came to our table at least three times with the wrong food that we didn't order and seemed to not know what table anything went to.
The food was outstanding, cooked perfectly. Great friends enjoying after church lunch together.
