Was there for the Rickmobile visit. Went inside and looked around, lots of comics - including some obscure ones, and lots of collectables. Comics and collectables aren't my thing but it was pretty clear it is a good store.
I got to say that this is my top comic book store I like & go to most of the time. I got some stuff from there & got it signed. Plus most of nerd Wall is covered from what I got from there. Plus the owners are nice as hell with good reasonable prices.
It's a little out of the way to get to but the staff has always been helpful and they're great with kids. It's not one of the bigger offerings in the Lexington area for comic book shops but the friendly staff make up for the smaller shop size
I gave them a shot but was terribly disappointed. The displays were old and covered in dusty, they merchandise was out of date mostly, and the creepy employee kept staring at my teenage daughter . I won't go back.
Couldn't have been happier. Stephen is absolutely the epitome of excellent customer service. He was joyful, dedicated to his work, and genuinely cared about my interests. The store itself is very clean and orderly, and has a good selection of comics. Coupled with Stephen's recommendations, I had no problems at all finding anything I needed. Heros Realm also features a good deal of toys and collectables.
