Have been sitting in error since 1 am, it's now 430 am and only seen 2 nurse. This bites
I've always had very positive experiences when getting treated here. I had very frequent upper respiratory infections and the providers gave me prescriptions and advice for how to take care of it along with a great referral to a local ENT. They even helped me find an ENT that was in my network. The staff has all been friendly, and I've never have a wait time more than 5 minutes past my scheduled appt time. The pharmacy being in the same building is also super convenient!
I went here twice last year, once for a 2nd degree burn on my foot (thanks Einstein's bagels and your depth of hell temperature tea) and once because I thought I had mono. I can't remember waiting anymore than 10 minutes either time. The person that helped me for my foot burn (can't remember her name or position... i want to say she was a nurse practitioner but i'm not sure) was extremely nice and helpful and told me how to properly bandage it up and the warning signs of infection. The second time I came I thought I had mono and I put my symptoms down in the questionnaire and said point blank "I think it could be mono." When i was let in to the examination room there was a nurse in there already with a mono test kit putting on gloves in order to administer a test. I really felt listened to. It turns out it wasn't mono (just my chronic illness flaring up) but the doctor gave me advice and suggestions anyway (an iron supplement could help, etc) and told me about other places I could go to to get more extensive blood tests if I don't get better soon. Other students I talk to often have bad experiences here but that is far from what I've personally been through.
Terrible place. Every time I go here I end up having to go to a real doctor to get treated properly.
Nurse Nancy was fantastic! First time having blood drawn and I freak out a bit, she was so sweet and comforting. I was very anxious and she was so calming and kind.
