I left home depot, just wasn't feeling the love. I went to Lowe's and what a difference! I have several projects to complete including a kitchen island. The manager saw me looking at a butcher block and asked if I wanted to see one that was oiled in one of the offices. I said I'd love to, and he escorted me to the back so I could look at it. I also got help from a very helpful lady with cabinets and also very helpful young man and gal with storm doors. Everyone I encounter was eager to help me. This will be my home improvement store from now on.

When I checked out I dealt with a chick named Jo, the head cashier. She was accommodating, and very knowledgeable, and inviting.
Just wish they'd improve the web site.
I frequent this store because the employees seem to care about the people that walk in there. I left after spending about $40 and after she schooled me on tinting.
I despise chain outlets, but this one is pretty dang good, simply because the employees give a damn.
Only positive from the whole experience was that the 3rd party installer was pretty good. Once the dishwasher arrived, install went without a hitch. I've generally had good experiences at Lowe's in the past but would think twice before getting an appliance from them again.
This store really takes customer service to a whole new level in my opinion. I went in yesterday afternoon to purchase window tinting for my upstairs master. I have never tinted in my life, vehicle or otherwise. I dealt with a chick named Kayla, and while dealing with me, she helped a blind woman with a service dog locate something.
Very Helpful staff. Lowe's is my homestore of choice.

Similar to other reviewers, worst appliance purchasing experience I ever had. Almost 2 hours to purchase dishwasher and multiple frustrating experiences where delivery/install was scheduled/rescheduled without informing me. Lost 2 work days waiting for install because no one contacted me to say it was rescheduled (not sure why). No one at store seemed to have the ability to communicate with installer in any way. Staff I dealt were polite enough, but didn't seem to have the necessary training or authorization to help much. Seemed hamstrung bad processes and training from higher authority.
