I had a fantastic experience here at Advantage Physical Therapy. The owners are always there to make you feel at ease which is always a plus for me. Some owners don't even show up to their own practice. So kudos to them. I would advise anyone to come here. Great place!
We had "cancelled" several appointments due to surgery and I had talked to the front desk person - I pointed to the sign and asked her to make sure those were not counted in our delinquent tally. She promised not to worry, but she was the same person who called and said we were out, indeed counting those appointments in her tally. I put "cancel" in quotes only because we are not allowed to leave until we schedule weeks and weeks in advance, so as life happens, I can't imagine who does not have to cancel or reschedule.
It's a shame they are so rude, at least the front desk. When I first tried to make the appointment I didn't receive any call backs; the owner apologized and I told him not to worry. Forgiveness here is a one way street.
Everyone was caring, skilled, kind, and wonderful to work with. I was hesitant to do physical therapy after breaking my foot because I wasn't sure how I would work it into my busy schedule. But it was worth every minute. They helped me regain my strength and function and significantly decreased the pain and discomfort I was experiencing through challenging and thoughtful therapy. I couldn't be more pleased with my results and they made PT fun. Jacob and Spencer worked with me most frequently and were fantastic, but my experience with everyone on the team was positive. I would highly recommend Advantage.
Nice to find a professional who seems to genuinely want his patients to get back to normal ASAP. Highly recommend.
The owner was very nice and one of the PTs was excellent (I don't know her name). When we last saw them we discussed our upcoming appointment at the Pain Clinic in Cincinnati and promised a debrief at our next appointment (next week). Instead we received a phone call while in Cincinnati that we missed an appointment and were booted from the practice. I would not have booked an appointment for a time when I was out of town and sure enough when I later checked our printout, that appointment was not listed (same happened the prior week).
My elbow was bothering me to the point it was keeping me from sleeping. A buddy told me to let Ron at Advantage PT take a look at it. Since I had already had tried heat, ice, rest and that Copperfit Sleeve you see on TV (BTW, it doesn't work) I thought I would give it a shot.

Ron did a full evaluation and described a course of treatment called dry needling (kinda like acupuncture with electronic pulses). I was a little skeptical but after the first treatment my elbow felt pretty close to normal again. After one more treatment I was good to go.
