This will be looked into.
I use the word "malpractice" because the vets were negligent and overlooked the severity of my pet's condition. During the time of visit, there was casual tone and no sense of alert as they inform us everything will be fine until I receive a call from them 5 hours after the time of death. Along the way I was charged $500-$800 for basic visit fee, blood works and IV. All the emotional damage and bias aside from losing a family member, I found this place very illogical, unfortunate, and money-oriented before care.
If you are in seek of practitioners that put care over money, this is NOT the place for you. If you have extra dollars to spend for basic care like rabies shots and flea treatment, you can get by with this place. The vet in Beaumont was very meticulous and caring with animals but he's no longer in practice. I've had extremely positive experience at the WOODSTOCK CLINIC on Lane Allen with their open prices, caring front end treatment, and affordable care because they're non-profit organization. For example, blood works would be a flat $50 at Woodstock compared to $200+ at Animal Care Clinic for the same service, flat $30 visit fee at Woodstock vs. appxt $100 visit fee at Animal Care Clinic. So you're ultimately comparing $50-80 to $300-$800 in average total spending.
My pet unexpectedly died at this clinic over what was thought as a minor condition due to malpractice.
From one pet lover to another, I sincerely hope no pet owners have to go through what me and my family had to go through at Animal Care Clinic.
I am so happy that I brought my cat Cali in last month to see you. For four years we have been on a roller coaster with her gingivitis stomatitis. The time and money of having her on and off of steroids and antibiotics was taking its toll on us. The x-rays you took of her mouth really revealed all the problems my poor cat was suffering through. The cost was very reasonable considering my total cost that I had experience up to that visit. She really recovered well from the teeth extractions. She is now eating, playing & purring like she never has before.
My pet died in their office. I was told all it needed was wormer and Antibiotics, they took him to the back and 2 min later came to tell me he's having complications.
I brought in my other pets for basic treatment on multiple occasions and their primary approach is maximizing in getting the most dollar out of you before care. Having that said, the owner here is an intellectual man--he understands the desperation you carry as your pet is in medical need and uses that to his advantage to gain the most profit. It's very unfortunate to say that this idea is brought to attention by not only me but also his ex-employee.
They put him in a blue bag and when I got home I checked him, and his neck appears to be broken.
