Great music venue! Cheap beer and drinks just make the evening great. Will visit again.
Great place for music. Narrow building, but generous front and back decks keep it from feeling too tight. Good bar, good service and cool staff. One of your better options in Lexington for a weekend evening.
Great venue. The space is large enough to draw bigger names in music yet still provide an opportunity to connect with the musicians. The wood interior provides a "live and active" sound without washing out low and mid frequencies. Having a background in music it is refreshing to listen to live music in a space that has a great mix and great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back.
I've only been here once with a band that was on tour. It's little train station/bar is a pretty awesome venue. We played here on a Sunday and I believe the owners of The Establishment were there they were extremely nice and helpful and everything we needed in setting up for the show definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
Outdoor fireplace. Historic distilleries all around. Cool bands. The new security guys seemed much cooler than the ones I met at my last encounter. That time, I was admiring some neato cars (since I was needing a new car) and they treated me more like a crack addict than a human. Yea, I understand they were watching customers cars and should be suspicious but they were more interested in toughness than figuring out what I was doing
