Easiest car rental ever! Walked up to the Hertz desk, gave them my name, showed my ID, they gave me the keys! The car was a short walk away in a large covered area. It was very easy to find. The return was just as easy (except for the part where we didn't find a gas station close to the airport, and had to pay an extremely inflated price when we returned the car-my bad, won't make that mistake again!). Overall, great rental company. I will always use Hertz.
Great CLEAN car. Pleasant pick up process and easy overnight drop-off. I had to return the car when I returned to town at 2:30 am, and was able to do so very easily. Full size car was a new Toyota Camry, which worked out great for a 6 hour trip to Illinois.
Had a phenomenal experience with Hertz. I originally set up the rental from Manhattan, KS one way and they were delighted and helped me get a great deal on a one way trip. Then on my return trip they again helped me get an amazing deal for a one way trip back. Wonderful and would recommend to anyone. Easy and extremely friendly to work with.
I would love to give 5 stars, but there's always a but. Workers were very nice, process was quick and efficient, and the car was very clean. But when you order a Camaro or similar and you got a Hyundai Sonata, that's why there's 3 stars. It's a bunch of bologna I tell ya!
I never write reviews, this is my first. I reserved this vehicle MONTHS ago for a 3 week road trip with my family. I called the week before, days before and the morning of to verify it was there and possibly pick up early. It was not. They said it would not be available till the scheduled pick up time. I called back later and it became obvious that the vehicle was not there when the employee said they would "work on having it there when I scheduled" and began to ask if I "would be interested in [this] or [that] vehicle". I asked why would I need to switch vehicles since I made my reservations months ago? The reply was that sometimes customers return them late and sometimes there are mechanical problems (which is hard to believe since they're brand new vehicles). So when I show up, they say the vehicle is being picked up from another town over a hour away and it will be another hour before I can get it. So exactly why would a business wait till the day of to ensure a reservation could be met when it had months to prepare? And when the customer was obviously anxious to pick it up? I don't know, but I do know I won't be renting from Hertz again. To their credit, the customer service was good, just lacking on competence. I don't have time for businesses who don't have time for their customers.
