This specific location isn’t the best compared to other National sites. I’ve recieved cars with dirty interiors over a handful of times and had to say something twice to front desk personnel. The cleaning crew needs better oversite.
I've been renting a car through national almost every weekend for past several months and I have had a pleasant experience every time. They make renting a car so easy and their prices are so reasonable. They are they only car rental company I will use. I highly recommend them!

I appreciate that every experience I have had with the staff at LEX has been pleasurable, as they are always helpful and accommodating. On my trip last Sunday I misplaced my keys. Chris, who was the agent working that day, took me back to the vehicle to look for them. Unfortunately, we did not find them. Twenty minutes into my trip home I called back, because I was certain I had left the keys in the vehicle. At the same time Chris was calling me to let me know he did find them and offered to meet me with them, proving he further investigated, probably because I was so sure I left them in the vehicle and he recognized the urgency of me finding them, as evidenced in the tone in my voice. This tells me he was truly paying attention. My ride could not turn back, so I could not meet him, but he was kind enough to send them to me via FedEx. While I only had two keys on the chain, one would have cost me a great deal of money and paperwork to replace, as it was my office building key. I got my package two days later. Thank you Chris and to all the staff at the Lexington Airport. Every experience, especially when more than just picking up or dropping off a car has always been resolved effortlessly and with the utmost consideration. As always, I look forward to my next trip.
I was upgraded to an escalade when I wanted an intermediate car. The person behind the counter was ok, but not overly helpful, that is why the 4 stars.
