As usual, I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go to Guitar Center. Being a drummer and sound engineer I can't look and drool enough. Because I live a few couties away and don't get to visit often.
I'm always finding what I need and always come and go with a smile! I've been a fan of guitar center for about 25 years. Keep up the great work
I will be back, hasn't soured my experience that much (yet). But I think once done with a customer you should seek out the other that needed your time, too. I might have made you a nice sale today.
The staff treated me like i had leprosy. No one talked to me no one asked if i needed help. Things were unorganized and on the floor. I had to watch that i didnt trip over anything. I spent 30 mins in line to buy guitar strings. The place is hard to find and is about as big as a wzlk on closet. Terrible
Today's visit was a bit off. Staff is always nice, but they seemed to need a few more workers. I was interested in some sound gear and had some questions. The one guy was busy and I'm patient. I told the sales guy I would check out the drum area to kill time while waiting.
Bought a used fender guitar here for only $200. Love the selection of new and used equipment.
Really only criticism is, walking in, it can be hard to locate items in store that you've researched online and verified is in stock. But having said that, just asking employees about it they always know what it is and where it is.
Evidently he had moved on and second sales guy was busy assisting another person. First one had passed by a few times without offering me assistance. After waiting about an hour I left.
Good selection of new and used gear. In my experience, employees do sometimes recommend newer / higher priced gear, but I've never felt pressure to choose anything other than what I am interested in.
Lexington store is fairly well setup, no major problems. Employees at Lexington store are great... helpful and knowledgeable.
