So we go into the room it Smelled very badly. the first thing i noticed was the Blue chair was coved in what i believe to be is 3 separate semen stains. We did not use that chair for that reason. then the position and lay out of the hot tub in the room was awkward to get in and out of. upon inspecting the tub it was not fully clean. we used hot water and a towel to clean ourselves. Certainly not the quality i expect from a comfort inn. or the quality of room i would expect for nearly $200/ night. I would not stay here again.
The hotel was in good shape. Unfortunately our bathtub was very dirty as they didn't seem to clean it. And the first floor where you come in from the parking lot smells like cat pee to me.
The room was mouldy. Could not sleep overnight. When returned yo Florida. I was ill for two weeks. Before I left the Comfort Inn, I let the front desk know and request the manager call me back. He never did. I never try Confort Inn again. Sure it was not comfortable at all.
Upon Check in the Grumpy employee told me that the hot tub room i reserved was not ready. that the hot tub was not working. I explained to him that was not acceptable he said well the bed is still good. I told him that was unacceptable i will cancel the reservation and go someplace else. he said let me go check.. he came back and said , oh i made a mistake its not your room.
Arrived at night, tired and ready for bed. All looked great in hotel, hallway and upon entering room. However, while washing up for bed I noticed that the bathtub/shower was dirty... Took a wet clothes to wipe to make sure it wasn't a stain... It wasn't :(. And hair as well!! Ick. And wall plug not secured well and anything plugged in fell out. A little due diligence would have made this visit a 5 star but the negligence changed it totally.
Used to be one of my favorite hotels in Lexington, reasonable price, clean rooms and a pool. The pool room looks like it need to be renovated to keep the cold out. Non smoking room but there are but holes in the blankets. A dirty wash rag was left in the bathroom for the previous ouccupants.
