The bed was comfortable. The mattress was acceptably plush, which I prefer to firm, but not saggy. The sheets were soft and the comforter thin. That's a compliment; I hate ridiculously large comforters that make you too hot while sleeping. Of the 5-10 beds I slept in this year, probably second only to mine at home.
A walk-in shower and toilet occupied a separate room from the vanity which was across from the bed. The tile-lined shower looked spacious, although with our travel schedule, we didn't utilize it so I can't comment on water pressure our temperature. Having the vanity in the bedroom probably has advantages with multiple users, but also isn't the most aesthetically appealing.
I am staying two nights here and so far the first night in the hotel is went well. Super clean and updated. Location is close to many shops and really good restaurants. Breakfast was good with basic options you would get at most hotel breakfasts. Nice customer service.Overall pleased...one issue was that the toilet was refilling slower then normal.
For a hotel in the 3.5 stars range, this one at the top of the class.
I was greeted by a friendly gentleman at the desk and check-in was smooth. The furnishings are contemporary, business-modern; rather unremarkable, but that's fine at this level. The building is 6 floors with a central hallway and convenient elevators.
The location is a mixed bag. It's convenient to the interstate, but the streets are laid out poorly. It's near a mall with a variety of chain restaurants options, but all the traffic too.
Our room was clean. More noticeably it was a mini-suite. I don't know if every room has this layout, but ours had a decent couch and ottoman. Nearby was a desk work station area. Those were separated from the bed by a thin wall reminiscent of a Japanese paper wall. It wasn't long enough to completely seal-off the rooms but enough to differentiate the spaces. The 40-50in TV was wall-mounted and could swivel to display to either room.
This hotel was a phenomenal experience. They made my late check in a breeze and helped me relax after a very long day on the road. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Finished were too notch and luxurious. Continental breakfast was one of the best I have had and I got to enjoy it on their patio. Pool looked great but unfortunately I didn't get to partake in any swimming.
Very high quality hotel, room is beyond elegant with a cool design with the sofas and bathrooms. Was given connecting rooms with my relatives which I was really happy about since I was able to talk to them for the night. State of the art LG television was offered which is awesome since most hotels in Kentucky do not offer this. People at the front desk are very friendly and give all the information needed for the night. Pool and gym is offered as well as breakfast for the morning which is prepared very well. Overall, a very nice hotel. Thanks for a great stay.
Rooms are great - mini suites. I wished we were staying longer. The location is great, too, with many restaurants and stores in the area to meet any need you may have.
The complementary breakfast was better than average. The scrambled eggs and pancakes were good considering that they came from trays. The milk and juice were served in chilled carafes instead of from a dispenser, adding a touch of class. The oatmeal had a nice variety of toppings. Overall, as hotel continental breakfasts go, this was a step above usual.
