Nice, clean room, helpful staff, and pet friendly. There are lots of well-lit areas for walking around and places to eat nearby. Would stay here again for sure.
This is a very nice hotel. Its right by a ton of shopping and food. I wish it had been closer to downtown attractions. But besides the location it is very clean and the pool area and outdoor areas are great. Each room can be a home away from home with a mini kitchen, couch and desk area. The breakfast was okay but I don't expect much from a free breakfast. Overall my stay was nice and quiet.
Not the experience we were hoping for. I purposely booked this hotel because of the location and because I could get 2 queen beds. Not doubles, not a queen and a pull out. We check in at 6pm and we were informed that they no longer have 2 queen beds available. Some guests have decided to extend their stay. We can have a room with one queen and a pull out for the same price. So I proceed to explain our position, well, they are fully booked, no other rooms. No apology, one person working the desk, no manager until morning. We spoke to another employee in the morning who was much kinder, gave a real apology and brought out the manager. Apparently this happens all the time and while he was unapologetic, he did comp a portion of our room for the night to make things right. The room was nice, clean and the one bed we did get was comfortable with great pillows. Wishing I could leave a 5 star review as it was a nice place and location.
The rooms are great and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The only improvement I would like to see is the breakfast menu and quality to improve. Its not just this specific hotel, it has been across the Marriott chain. Of course its my opinion based off my experiences. It not that its bad but there is room for improvement. And I say this because if breakfast is your thing you may look at eating outside the hotel. Of course with the stove top in the room you have the opportunity to cook what you prefer. The rooms are great and make for an almost luxurious stay. Modern design with clean lines, and multiple tones, all with a subtle cozy feel that is reminiscent of home. I like the area because of the easy access to food and shopping. Its all within walking distance. If you like to get out for a run there are miles of sidewalk to use. Local food is nearby and Kentucky spirits are easy to find. As weather permits I would suggest using the grill to cook up your favorite cut of steak. This hotel is a definite contender if you are staying in the area.
Great location. Walking distance to some nice shops, food, and even a grocery store. The rooms are nice too.
